End of Summer

A few weeks back my Aunt brought us some beautiful white hydrangeas from her garden. Puffy and cone-shaped with super long stems, they lasted much longer than those found in grocery stores or the flower shop. As the last few weeks of Summer wrap up, they have slowly withered and dried to a pale green, but still look just as pretty. Something about Fall, that even though everything starts to slowly fade away, it still looks just as nice. I suppose it's natures way of pepping us up for that colder season ahead – one that shall remain nameless ;)
